I haven’t had any issues falling or staying asleep. It’s probably better for my back than the pillow top, but it sure ain’t no cloud. Also, it’s thick. My bed is very tall now and the sheets barely fit. No fault of the product, I already knew I had a pillow top.
It did, however, smell like chemicals for several weeks. Maybe it still does and I am just used to it. I hope it isn’t one of those controversial fire retardants that will leech in to my body at night slowly poisoning me. The bed itself probably has that anyway since it’s not an all natural latex bed.
If I sleep on my back, my pillow goes over my face. No neck issues or back issues so far. I think I toss and turn less, because I’m the morning I am in a hole. Maybe I am comfortable in my sleep or maybe I just can’t roll out of it.
All that said, I would recommend this mattress topper to anyone without a pillow top or someone just trying to get some additional life from their older bed. Also, I will put it on a new bed when I get one. Read LessRead less about It has a very firm feel, but it does
